8 accused of drug offenses
Eight people have been charged with various drug offenses, according to court records. Those charged and the police departments involved were:
Conner D. Stern, 19, of Hamburg; Pennsylvania College of Technology police; possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the 1200 block of West Third Street on Feb. 15; released on $3,500 bail.
Ethan J. Jednat, 22, of 817 Hepburn St.; city police; possession of marijuana in the 1200 block of Park Avenue on Feb. 13; released on $1,500 bail.
Penn College students Jake Thomas Tully, 19, of Kennett Square; Joseph John Sabato, 18, of Toms River, N. J., and Brian Patrick Pedlow, 19, of Wayne; Penn College police; possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in their dorm room on Feb. 13; all three released on bail. Pedlow faces additional charges of theft and receiving stolen property for allegedly having stolen college-owned copper in his dorm, police said.
Anthony Chevelle Short, 43, of 765 W. Third St.; state police; two counts each of possession with intent to deliver cocaine, delivery of cocaine and possession of cocaine for allegedly selling the controlled substance to a confidential informant on Dec. 20 and Jan. 22 in the 700 block of West Third Street; jailed in lieu of $75,000 bail.
Quaydee Ameer Blackwell, 20, of 845 Park Ave.; state police; two counts each of possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine, delivery of crack cocaine and possession of cocaine stemming from allegedly selling the controlled substances to a confidential informant on Elizabeth Street in the city twice in March 2012; jailed in lieu of $50,000 bail.
Kadeem Middleton, 20, of 653 Hepburn St.; city police; possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia on Huffman Avenue in mid-September 2011; released on $1,500 bail.
