Student charged with drug possession
ELKLAND – Dinaija Quintana Craft, 18, of 2176 Merrick Hill Road, Knoxville, recently was charged by state police with use and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Craft, a student at Cowanesque Valley High School in Westfield Township, was found Feb. 19 with two glass pipes containing burnt residue, three plastic straws, two containing white residue, one lighter, four razor blades, one plastic container and one metal clip used for drugs, according to documents filed at District Judge Brian Edgcomb’s office.
The principal heard from another student that Craft used drugs in the high school bathroom, giving him reason to search her, reports state. She was issued a summons to appear Thursday.
