Police seek help identifying possible suspect in car theft

Authorities are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who may be connected with a stolen vehicle investigation.

According to city police, the theft took place on April 19 outside of the Finish Line Bar in Newberry. Security cameras inside the bar captured the images of the man, who is described as 5-feet, 10-inches tall with a large build, flat-top style haircut and glasses.

This man may be employed in the gas and oil industry, authorities say.
