Cops: woman sold marijuana
JERSEY SHORE – A borough woman faces felony charges for allegedly possessing and selling marijuana.
Cassie L. Shea, 23, of 433 South Main Street, is charged with four felony counts for possesion with intent to distribute the substance and one for criminal use of a cell phone.
On May 15, Tiadaghton Valley Police sent a confidential informant to allegedly meet with Shea at Cemetery Street and Cherry Alley.
According to police, the informant was able to purchase $40 worth of marijuana from Shea.
Another controlled purchase allegedkly took place on June 4, according to court record. Again, the informant purchased $40 worth of the narcotic, records state.
Shea waived her preliminary hearing before District Judge Jerry C. Lepley on June 19. She is currently incarcerated in lieu of $50,000.
