25-year-old faces theft, pot charges
JERSEY SHORE – Michael Patrick Bowes, 25, faces charges after state police discovered marijuana and a stolen sign in mid-June 2012 inside his Limestone Township home, where he was living at the time.
The $150 road sign, which belonged to the state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, and four marijuana buds inside a wooden picture frame were discovered is Bowes’ apartment at 7607 Route 44 in Limestone Township, police said.
Charges in the case were not filed until two months ago. Charged with theft and possession of marijuana, Bowes, now living at 551 Knarr Road, has been sent a summons to appear before District Judge Jerry C. Lepley.
