Police: Man steals copper

Leslie Alan Price, 25, a two-year employee at NORtech Energy on Palmer Road in Woodward Township, has been arrested on charges of allegedly stealing three copper heat exchangers from the company between Aug. 2 and Aug. 6, state police said.

Price, of 1719 E. Third St., has been charged with theft and receiving stolen property, police said, adding that he sold the $800 heat exchangers to a local recycling business. Arraigned last week before District Judge Jerry C. Lepley, Price remains jailed in the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $15,000 bail.
