4th arrest made in alleged home invasion, robbery
A fourth arrest has been made in connection with a home invasion and robbery that occurred in the city’s Newberry section in early February 2012, city police said.
Shamol McDuffy, 22, of 1103 Dewey Ave., has been charged with multiple counts of conspiracy for his alleged involvement in a home invasion at 921 Arch St. on Feb. 2, 2012.
Police allege McDuffy and three other men, already charged, stole cash, electronics, cellphones, sneakers and a backpack from the home.
Following his recent arraignment before District Judge Jerry C. Lepley, McDuffey, incarcerated on another matter at a state prison since last December, was committed to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail.
