2 hurt in Lycoming Creek Road crash

Two people were injured when a car driven by Wanda Korb, of Williamsport, and a van driven by Michelle L. Miller, also of Williamsport, collided at Lycoming Creek Road and Vesta Avenue about 12:20 p.m. Tuesday, according to Old Lycoming Township police.

Miller, 35, and a passenger in the other vehicle, Penny Young, no age or address available, were taken to the Williamsport Regional Medical Center, police said. There was no information on their conditions.

Concerning another crash, Michael Savage, 37, of Hughesville, remained in fair condition Wednesday night at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, with injuries he suffered when his car and another driven by Betty Stiger, 79, also of Hughesville, collided at Lycoming Mall Drive and the foot of the Interstate 180 East off-ramp about 12:45 p.m. Saturday, Muncy Township police said Wednesday.

While Savage was flown by helicopter to Geisinger, a male juvenile riding in his vehicle, was taken by ambulance to the Muncy Valley Hospital. There was no information about his condition.

Stiger was taken to the Williamsport Regional Medical Center, but she since has been discharged.
