Man, 27, is accused of stealing from employer

A former store manager of Sky High Frozen Yogurt at 1879 E. Third St. has been arrested on charges of allegedly stealing $3,300 from the store while he worked there between mid-May and mid-August, according to state police.

Shilo Aaron Cole, 27, of 312 Glenwood Ave., faces felony charges of theft and access device fraud as well as a misdemeanor charge of receiving stolen property.

Saying he needed the money, Cole admitted to store owner Don Brown that he pocketed “up to $120 per shift” by voiding sales, according to an affidavit.

Using the store’s credit card account, Cole also racked up $1,200 in charges for items that were for his personal use, police alleged. Following his arraignment last week before District Judge Gary A. Whiteman, he was released on $15,000 bail.
