Man charged with indecent exposure

MANSFIELD – Kevin L. Brown, 53, of Harrisburg, was charged by Blossburg Borough police with indecent exposure, disorderly conduct, and public drunkenness after he allegedly was seen without any pants on in a store parking lot Sept. 12.

According to documents filed at District Judge James Carlson’s office, Brown was sitting in his pickup truck parked in the parking lot of the Bloss Holiday Market when witnesses came out of the store and saw him naked from the waist down getting into the back of his truck.

The store customer called police to tell them she could “see everything below the waist” as he got into the back of his truck.

Police said they found him sitting in the driver’s side of the vehicle with just a long T-shirt on to cover his waist line and below and told him someone had complained about a male urinating and exposing himself. When asked why he wasn’t wearing pants, he said he was wearing “short shorts.”

He also said he was parked trying to decide if he should go into the store to get food or go across the street and get gas. He allegedly admitted to drinking beer “earlier in the day.”

Brown waived his Oct. 2 preliminary hearing and was released on $2,500 bail. His county court arraignment was set for Oct. 28.
