Man charged with possession of syringes
WELLSBORO – Kyle A. Raymond 27, of 85 East Avenue, was charged by borough police with possession of drug paraphernalia after his roommate called emergency services for a report of a suspected overdose at the residence Aug. 21.
According to documents filed at District Judge Rob Repard’s office, Raymond was on the floor of his bedroom when they arrived.
They said they observed several items in plain view, including a syringe, packet, syringe cap, lighter, cotton, cigarette filters for filtering impurities from drugs, bottle caps and several spoons, along with a clear plastic Fentanyl patch.
He had apparently “cooked” the patch to inject the drug.
He was summoned to appear at a preliminary hearing Nov. 12.
