Police accuse Tioga man of sexually assaulting 2
MANSFIELD – Matthew A. Mosher, 28, of 16085 Route 287, Tioga, was charged by state police with statutory sexual assault, 2 counts of unlawful contact with a minor, 2 counts of aggravated indecent assault, and corruption of minors recently following incidents last spring.
According to documents filed at District Judge James Carlson’s office, in March of this year, Mosher picked up two teenage girls, aged 14 and 16, and took them out to Cooper Road, Richmond Township where he proceeded to indecently assault and rape the 14-year-old until she suffered pain and asked him to stop.
He allegedly did the same thing on another occasion to the 16-year-old, indecently assaulting and raping her, refusing to stop when she said she was in pain.
He was jailed in lieu of $15,000 bail and his preliminary hearing was continued to Oct. 30.
