Woman allegedly threatened, assaulted others with box cutter
MONTGOMERY – Rosemary Kaye Winder, 47, of 61 N. Main St., has been charged with simple assault, harassment and felony aggravated assault after allegedly cutting one man and threatening several other individuals with a box cutter.
On Sept. 28, Winder assaulted several people with the box cutter at 125 S. Main St., according to police.
Earlier in the afternoon, an altercation allegedly had broken out between Jeremy Winder and Richard Reynolds.
When police arrived on the scene, they were told by Tara Wright that Rosemary Winder had taken a box cutter, pressed it to her throat and threatened to cut her if she became involved in the alleged fight between the two men.
Another man, Roy Goble, told police that Rosemary had cut him on the left wrist and back with the small knife. He was able to display the two small cuts to the officers but declined medical assistance, records state.
Two other witnesses, who were not named in court records, also told police that they had seen Rosemary Winder with a small knife.
Rosemary Winder was taken into custody and arraigned before District Judge Jon E. Kemp on Sept. 28. She was incarcerated in lieu of $35,000 bail.
