Police: Middlebury Center man had meth
WELLSBORO – Christopher W. Gee, 42, of 120 Route 249, Middlebury Center, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia by state police recently.
According to documents filed at District Judge Rob Repard’s office, on Oct. 16, Gee was arrested on a warrant with the sheriff’s department and while he was being searched at the residence, sheriff’s deputies allegedly found a bag of white powder and plastic pen tube in his right pants pocket.
Then, at the prison, corrections officers found another small baggie of an orange substance in the same pocket’s smaller compartment, which police said tested positive for meth. He was issued a summons to appear at a Dec. 12 preliminary hearing.
