University student charged with drinking following party, chase

MANSFIELD – Jeremy I. Garnett, 19, of Philadelphia, was charged with disorderly conduct and underage drinking by university police after an underage drinking party on campus recently.

According to documents filed at District Judge James Carlson’s office, on Nov. 10, police were dispatched for a report of an underage drinking party in Maple A, Room 502.

When police arrived, they saw Garnett running away with others and he fell twice while trying to run from police.

He was released on $1,500 bail and his preliminary hearing was continued to Nov. 20.
