2 injured in I-80 rollover crash
LOCK HAVEN – Two people were injured in a one-vehicle crash at 6:48 p.m. Dec. 4, state police said.
Melissa A. Eipper, 20, of Exeter, was driving west on Interstate 80 near mile marker 181 when she swerved to the left to avoid a vehicle encroaching into her lane, state police at Lamar said. She lost control of the 1995 Pontiac Grand Prix, slid off the road and rolled over several times.
Eipper suffered moderate injuries and her passenger, Alyssa N. Wincek, 20, of Wilkes-Barre, received major injuries and had to be extricated from the vehicle, police said. They were taken to Lock Haven Hospital.
