New Columbia man accused of theft
Madison M. Gummel, 25, of New Columbia, faces theft-related charges for stealing a set of golf clubs and a battery jumpstarter from a shed in the 900 block of Seneca Avenue on Sept. 19, city police said.
Police also allege Gummel then sold the items to Cillo’s Antiques in Williamsport for $25. Charged with theft, receiving stolen property and theft, he was released on $8,500 bail following his arraignment before District Judge James Carn.
The victim’s identity was not listed with the charges.
