Teen allegedly steals iPad from high school
WELLSBORO – Trevin M. Hughes, 18, of 22 E. Country Living Park, was charged by borough police with theft and receiving stolen property after he allegedly took an Apple iPad from the high school and didn’t bring it back.
According to documents filed at District Judge Rob Repard’s office, Hughes took the device from the school at 225 Nichols St., Dec. 10, from a locker in the gym around the end of November and it was about three weeks before he said he returned it to the locker.
School officials reported the iPad was not found in the locker, but Hughes said he did return it and doesn’t know where it is now.
He was issued a summons to appear at a Feb. 27 preliminary hearing.
