Body found in car identified; coroner finds no signs of foul play

The 39-year-old man whose body was found in a car near Second and Memorial avenues Thursday morning has been identified as Oscar Hepburn, of South Williamsport.

Lycoming County Coroner Charles E. Keissling Jr. confirmed the identity late Thursday. Family members had reported Hepburn missing Wednesday night.

He was not able to confirm the cause of death.

He added that toxicology tests will be performed, but that the results will not be known for several weeks.

Both Keissling and Williamsport Police Capt. Tim Miller said that there was no indication of foul play.

“There were no obvious signs of trauma to the body,” Keissling said.

Miller said Thursday that reports on social media about the cause of death were innacurate.
