Police: Man sent naked photos to minor

BLOSSBURG – A 21-year-old man faces charges for allegedly exchanging naked pictures of himself with a 17-year-old female he met on the Internet on various dates in 2012, state police said.

When Christopher V. Price, of 152 A Taber St., was apprehended by police following the report of a burglary at Old Bloss Road on Aug. 5, 2012, police confiscated his cellphone for possible evidence related to the burglary. After obtaining a search warrant, investigators found images on Price’s phone that he had sent to a 17-year-old in Kentucky in which Price is allegedly performing sexual acts on himself, an affidavit said.

Police also found images of the juvenile in various states of undress that she had sent to Price, according to police.

The 17-year-old, of Raceland, Ky., told police that she and Price had been Internet dating and had sent pictures back and forth to each other, an affidavit said.

Price was sent a summons to appear before D.J. James E. Carlson for a March 5 preliminary hearing where he will face charges related to sexual abuse, unlawful contact with a minor and corruption of a minor.

Assault on stepfather alleged

WELLSBORO – Jason A. Kline, 29, of 59 Bell Road, faces charges for allegedly getting into a physical altercation with his stepfather on Feb. 11 at Kline’s residence in Delmar Township, police said.

According to police, Kline allegedly struck his stepfather “on the head with an unknown object causing damage to his left ear.” At the fight’s end, “the residence was in disarray as a coffee table was upset and broken glass was all over the floor, as well as some broken angel figurines and picture frames,” an affidavit said.

The fight broke out when Kline’s stepfather tried to stop Kline from leaving the house and return to an apartment on Pearl Street where Kline already had dealt with police earlier in the night following an alleged domestic disturbance with his girlfriend. That incident resulted in Kline facing a charge of public drunkenness, police said.

Kline was sent a summons to appear before District Judge Robert L. Repard for a Feb. 27 preliminary hearing where he will face charges related to assault, harassment, criminal mischief and public drunkenness.
