Man charged after allegedly taking credit card

WELLSBORO – Dustin N. Worthington, 25, of 123 Dragonfly Lane, was charged by borough police with access device fraud after he allegedly took another person’s credit card and used it at a local drug store several times last fall.

According to documents filed at District Judge Rob Repard’s office, between Sept. 29 through Oct. 18, Worthington used the victim’s Chase Mastercard after removing it from her purse, to make four purchases at the Rite Aid Pharmacy, 24 East Ave., totaling $2,209.60.

He was issued a summons to appear at an April 10 preliminary hearing.
