2nd man arrested, charged in incident
A second man has been arrested in connection with a shoplifting incident that occurred at Kmart, 1915 E. Third St., on Jan. 28, according to state police.
Steven Michael Sanso, 30, of 2406 Linn St., has been charged with receiving stolen property and conspiracy for allegedly receiving three video games that Brett Daniel Shoemaker allegedly stole from the department store, police said.
Investigators allege Sanso sold the games to another store in order to get cash so he could “support his heroin habit,” according to an affidavit. Following his recent arraignment before District Judge Gary A. Whiteman, Sanso was released on $2,500 bail.
Shoemaker, 37, of 712 W. Third St., was arrested late last month for his involvement in the incident and released on bail.
