4 state inmates face new charges

MUNCY – Four inmates at the state Correctional Institution here face new charges filed by state police.

Florida Marie Ross, 31, aggravated harassment, spit on correction officer on Sept. 20, 2013; currently served 26 months of a 2- to 4-year sentence, remained jailed in lieu of $150,000 bail.

Sherricka Nicole Phillips, 26, aggravated harassment, spit on a correction officer on Nov. 1, 2013; currently sentenced 2 to 10 years with possibility of release between March 28, 2015 and 2022, remained jailed in lieu of $150,000 bail.

Sade Megan Hardy, 23, aggravated assault, punched a correction officer in the face, kicked officer’s leg, stuck another officer in the face on Dec. 12, 2013; current sentence will max out Nov. 14, remained jailed in lieu of $500,000 bail.

Brenda Denise Carroll, 36, aggravated harassment on Feb. 19, spit on a correction officer; aggravated assault on March 11, used head to assault correction officer in the right temple; currently in a 15- to 30-month sentence, remained in jail in lieu of $200,000 bail.
