Police: 17-year-old girl uses knife and hammer in attack
A 17-year-old city girl will face further court action on city police charges of aggravated assault, disorderly conduct and conspiracy that stem from her allegedly attacking another teenage girl at Rural Avenue and Center Street in mid-January.
Belinda Ariel Eddins, of 630 Second St., recently waived her preliminary hearing before District Judge Allen P. Page III. She allegedly stabbed the victim multiple times and also struck her in the head with a hammer, police said.
The victim was treated at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center.
Eddins, who is being tried as adult, initially was committed to the Lycoming County Prison but is free on bail.
