Williamsport Home employee accused of theft

After allegedly stealing a Williamsport Home resident’s credit card, home staffer Candice L. Reynolds racked up more than $600 on the credit card while going on a shopping spree at several stores, state police said.

Reynolds is accused of stealing the 91-year-old woman’s card in late April while the resident was moving from one room to another at the 1900 Ravine Road retirement home, police said.

Reynolds, of 93 Broad St., Montgomery, has admitted to stealing the card and using it to make “many unauthorized purchases at multiple businesses,” police said.

Reynolds, who is no longer employed at the home, was arraigned before District Judge Gary A. Whiteman on charges of forgery, access device fraud, identity theft, theft and receiving stolen property. She is free on $15,000 bail.
