Woman faces reckless driving charges
A Mifflinburg motorist faces charges for fleeing from city police about 3:30 p.m. June 12.
Police suspect Tressa Lynn Majer, 21, fled from an officer because a shoplifting suspect was riding in her vehicle.
As she sped south across the Market Street bridge in a 2003 Pontiac, Majer forced another vehicle off the road, police said. She was apprehended and charged with fleeing police and reckless driving.
Initially committed to the Lycoming County Prison, Majer has since been released on $15,000 bail.
