17 sentenced in county

Seventeen individuals recently were sentenced at the Lycoming County Courthouse, according to court documents.

Sixteen were sentenced to probation. They are:

Damon E. Cruz, 37, New York, 12 months and 50 hours community service for disorderly conduct.

Carrie L. Bernard, 49, 833 Park Place, 12 months, $1,000 restitution and 25 hours community service for fraudulently obtaining food stamps.

Brooke L. Rose, 25, 152 Boak Ave. Lot 7, Hughesville, 24 months, $38 restitution and 25 hours community service for simple assault.

John D. Riggle, 41, 609 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore, 12 months and 50 hours of activity for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jenifer S. Almeida, 35, 6235 N. Route 220 Highway Lot 16, Linden, 24 months and 50 hours community service for retail theft.

Thomas R. Grimm, 71, 65 Sherwood Drive Apartment 19, Montgomery, 12 months for unsworn falsification.

Stephen T. Cuneo III, 21, 2212 Mill Lane, 12 months and 50 hours community service for criminal mischief.

Jody L. Hoffman, 29, PO Box 843, Jersey Shore, 12 months for disorderly conduct.

Stephen G. Hahn, 38, Karthaus, 12 months and 50 hours activity for possession of a controlled substance heroin.

Dustin L. Young, 24, 270 Haven Pines Road, Mill Hall, 12 months and 25 hours community service for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Megan N. Kennedy, 26, 343 Old Route 220 Highway Lot 3, Jersey Shore, 18 months and 50 hours community service for unsworn falsification.

Joseph J. Deangelo, 31, Johnstown, 12 months for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Evan A. Bryant, 23, 406 Anthony St., 24 months and 50 hours community service for contraband and driving under suspension.

Justin R. Haas, 22, 1105 Cemetery St., Jersey Shore, 12 months, $500 fine and 50 hours community service for disorderly conduct.

Quentin J. Williams, 20, Barto, 24 months and 50 hours community service for resisting arrest.

Matthew B. Kelly, 31, 1825 Mount View Ave., Montoursville, 48 months and 50 hours of activity for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance, heroin.

One was fined. He is:

Jose S. James, 24, Georgia, $350 fine and $70 restitution for theft by deception.
