8 charged with various crimes

Eight people have been charged with various offenses. Those charged and the police departments involved were:

Austin Eugene Grossnickle, 27, of 2228 W. Third St.; city police; terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment for allegedly punching Brooke Bower in the stomach, kicking her in the face and threatening to kill her during a disturbance at their home on Aug. 6; jailed in lieu of $25,000 bail.

Lori Ann Barney, 52, of 815 W. Fourth St.; city police; felony shoplifting after she was caught allegedly trying to steal $64 worth of merchandise at Kohl’s, 251 William St., on Aug. 5; jailed in lieu of $5,000 bail; already has three shoplifting convictions.

Daniel Michael Hart, 25, of Hillsgrove; state police; simple assault, recklessly endangering and harassment for allegedly punching Carrie Ann Long multiple times at 45 Back St. in Upper Fairfield Township on July 26; released on $20,000 bail.

Lawrence E. Keisner Jr., 31, of 163 Antes Fort Main St., Antes Fort; Tiadaghton Valley Regional Police; indecent assault and harassment for allegedly having inappropriate contact with a female minor in the 500 block of Allegheny Street on July 14; sent a summons to appear before a district judge.

Tammy Jo Stutzman, 39, of 188 Wagner Road; Old Lycoming Township police; theft and receiving stolen property for allegedly stealing six Nintendo games from the home of her brother, Joseph, 192 Wagner Road, on July 7; sent a summons to appear before a district judge.

Brice Andrew Goodell, 23, of 643 Elmira St.; city police; illegal use of solvents in the 300 block of Second Street on June 29; released on $3,500 bail.

William James Mundell III, 28, of 300 1/2 Arch St.; Old Lycoming Township police; possession of materials to manufacture methamphetamine and related offenses after officers seized several items from his vehicle during a traffic stop near Mill Lane and Catherine Drive on June 12; released on $25,000 bail.

Cass B. Fredrikson, 55, of 202 Harvest Moon Park, Linden; state police; making unsworn falsification to authorities for allegedly writing false information on a government form when he applied to purchase a rifle at Troxell’s Sporting Goods, 2715 Lycoming Creek Road, on Nov. 13; sent a summons to appear before a district judge.
