21 people are charged by area police with committing various offenses
Twenty-one people have been charged with various criminal offenses, according to court records.
Those charged and the police departments involved are:
Tyler Davis Ritter, 24, of 2168 Royal Ave.; city police; recklessly endangering and simple assault for allegedly choking girlfriend Jessi Hamm while she was holding the couple’s two sons, ages 2 and 3 months, during a disturbance at the couple’s home on Tuesday morning; jailed in lieu of $15,000 bail.
John David Franklin, 39, of 723 Clark St.; city police; simple assault, cruelty to animals and harassment for allegedly assaulting girlfriend Candice Nuefer and her dog during a disturbance at the couple’s home on Monday; Franklin choked Nuefer to the point that she lost consciousness, police alleged; jailed in lieu of $10,000 bail.
Gary D. Stoetzel, 37, of 1024 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore; Tiadaghton Valley Regional police; simple assault for allegedly grabbing girlfriend Misty Bertin by the hair, throwing her to the ground and punching her in the face in the 200 block of Seminary Street in the borough on Sunday; jailed in lieu of $15,000 bail.
Aaron Paul Hannah, 31, of 735 Park Ave.; city police; simple assault and harassment for allegedly punching Jenna Bachman outside her apartment in the 800 block of West Third Street on Sunday; jailed in lieu of $25,000 bail.
Shirley Marie Trahan-Williams, 45, of 528 Ruben Kehrer Road, Muncy; state police; aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment for allegedly striking her husband, Timothy A., several times in the face with a dumbbell during a disturbance at the couple’s Fairfield Township home early Sunday morning; jailed in lieu of $15,000 bail.
Jonathan S. Weigel, 29, of 2206 Lycoming Creek Road; Old Lycoming Township police; simple assault and harassment for allegedly slamming his wife’s head off the kitchen floor and injuring her hand as he attempted to rip off her wedding ring during disturbance at the couple’s home on Saturday night; jailed in lieu of $7,500 bail; wife, Ronda, was treated at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center, police said.
Dakota Michael Stahl, 19, of 508 Louisa St.; city police; burglary, theft and criminal mischief for allegedly stealing a $49 bicycle from Cheona Lindsay’s garage at 818 Market St. on Aug. 31; released on $7,500 bail.
Kevin Edward Johnson, 51, of 1398 W. Emery Church Road, Linden; state police; simple assault and harassment for allegedly punching his wife, Cheryl, in the face at the couple’s home on Aug. 31; jailed in lieu of $10,000 bail.
Devyn William Fuller, 22, of 1418 Locust St, and Brandon A. Stevenson, 26, of 921 1/2 Arch St.; Tiadaghton Valley Regional police; burglary, theft and related offenses for each allegedly stealing a bike from a garage at 309 Glover St. on Aug. 30; both nabbed shortly after Stevenson crashed the bike he allegedly took, police said; both men jailed in lieu of $25,000 bail each.
Alex Jo Huffman, 25, of 2625 W. Fourth St.; city police; theft and related offenses for allegedly stealing prescriptions belonging to Holly Koch and Christopher Welch from Welch’s home at 910 Seneca Ave. on Aug. 29; jailed in lieu of $15,000 bail; co-defendant Andre T. King, 33, of 807 Center St.; charged with criminal trespassing and possession of marijuana; released on $7,500 bail.
Shadia Desria Bates-Davis, 25, of 400 Lycoming St.; city police; resisting arrest and disorderly conduct following a disturbance in her apartment building on Aug. 29; jailed in lieu of $5,000 bail.
Vanessa Lynn Weaver, 36, of 2159 Mosser Ave.; felony shoplifting after she was caught allegedly trying to steal an undisclosed amount of merchandise from Kohl’s, 251 William St., on Aug. 25; jailed in lieu of $15,000 bail.
Naire Lamar Brown, 19, of 304 Arch St,; Pennsylvania College of Technology police; burglary, theft and related offense for allegedly stealing an xBox game system and $800 worth of accessories from Matthew Shilliong’s apartment at 931 Vine Ave. on Aug. 17; jailed in lieu of $15,000 bail.
Michael Scott Winchester, 53, of 217 Smith St., Jersey Shore; Tiadaghton Valley Regional police; terroristic threats and simple assault for allegedly punching girlfriend Susan Krape multiple times in the face while she was sleeping and then threatened to kill her with a pair of scissors when she awoke in the couple’s home on Aug. 15; initially jailed, now free on $10,000 bail.
Richard Michael Boatman, 25, of 349 Adams St.; charged by Lycoming County Detective Michael Simpler; aggravated assault, simple assault and resisting arrest for allegedly becoming combative in the county’s probation office at the courthouse, 48 W. Third St., on Aug. 10 when he was told he was being incarcerated on a probation violation of allegedly having pornographic images on his cellphone; jailed on the violation and in lieu of $50,000 bail.
Thomas Craig Foster Jr., 38, of 219 S. Main St., Jersey Shore; Tiadaghton Valley Regional police; terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment for allegedly threatening girlfriend Stacy Walter and her son with a knife during disturbance at couple’s home on Aug. 6; jailed in lieu of $10,000 bail.
Charles E. McKnight Jr., 23, of 63 Melvina St., Montgomery; Montgomery police; theft, receiving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia for allegedly stealing Shawn Gawblick’s cellphone from 10 S. Broad St. on Aug 5; jailed in lieu of $15,000 bail.
Ronald Eugene Baity, 55, of 1310 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore; Tiadaghton Valley Regional police; simple assault and harassment for allegedly punching girlfriend Angela Grove in the face and slamming her to the floor at the couple’s home on Aug. 2; sent a summons to appear before a district judge; Grove was treated at the Jersey Shore
