2 to face charges in Elkland District Court
ELKLAND — Two people either have appeared or will appear before District Judge James Edgcomb to face various charges.
• Edward S. Moon, 51, of 102 Highland Ave., Elkland, faces charges of criminal defiant trespass and disorderly conduct in connection with incidents Oct. 31, at the Ridge Runner Cafe, 114 Parkhurst St., Elkland, and the Acorn Market, 101 E. Main St., Elkland, for repeatedly pounding on the windows of the Acorn Market before it was open and repeatedly bothering paying customers at the cafe and refusing to leave. He was jailed in lieu of $5,000 bail and his preliminary hearing set for Dec. 15.
• Dakota J. Whittle, 20, of Lawrenceville, faces charges of defiant trespass in connection with an incident at a residence at 46 Mystic Lane, Lawrenceville, Oct. 10 for entering the residence to allegedly gather his belongings after being advised via a court order that he was not allowed to be there. He was issued a summons to appear at a Nov. 17 preliminary hearing.
