Police: Stolen items land 3 men in jail

Three people have been charged with various offenses, according to court records. Those charged and the police departments involved were:

• Jalil Donte Harris, 18, of 1835 Hazel Drive, and Shaiheem Ismil Short, of 722 Memorial Ave.; state police; receiving stolen property after they were caught trying to sell stolen merchandise to Game Stop in Muncy Township on Saturday; both released on $1,500 bail; merchandise was stolen from Elite Games, 1877 E. Third St., according to court records.

• Kevin Jeffrey Brown, 47, of 653 Hepburn St.; two sets of city police charges; theft and receiving stolen property for allegedly stealing a television set at the Genetti Hotel, 200 W. Fourth St., on Nov. 15; and misdemeanor shoplifting after he was caught allegedly trying to steal $151 worth of merchandise from Rite-Aid, 14 Fifth St., on Saturday; jailed in lieu of $10,000 bail.
