4 facing charges in Tioga County District Court

MANSFIELD — Four people either have appeared or will appear before District Judge James Carlson to face various charges.

• Mandy M. Clark, 38, of 1000 Croft Hollow Road, Osceola, faces charges of possession of a controlled substance, (heroin), with intent to manufacture and deliver, criminal use of a communication facility, possession of drug paraphernalia, (glassine baggies), with intent to package and deliver. State police said she sold seven bags of heroin for $140 to an undercover officer in a Mansfield parking lot July 29, 2015. Then on Aug. 12, 2015, she sold four bags of heroin to an undercover officer in Wells Township, Bradford County, for $80. Clark was jailed in lieu of $15,000 straight bail and her preliminary hearing was held Wednesday.

• Stephanie E. Blais, 31, of 247 Maple St., Westfield, faces charges of simple assault, retail theft, disorderly conduct and harassment after she allegedly bit, kicked, punched and spit at Wal-Mart employees and customers outside the store while screaming and shouting Nov. 23. Store staff said she had committed retail theft and when a worker attempted to apprehend her, she assaulted him and others when they attempted to help him. Police said she was hiding six DVDs, a T-shirt, wax and ladies’ socks valued at $164 in her handbag. She was jailed in lieu of $15,000 bail and her preliminary hearing set for Dec. 7.

• John A. Gentlin, 19, of 2159 Beaman Road, Columbia Cross Roads, faces charges of possession of a small amount of marijuana for personal use and underage drinking, after police found him at a gathering of several other underage males at Pirate’s Rock, off Ogdensburg Road in Hamilton Township Nov. 5. He was issued a summons to appear at Dec. 28 preliminary hearing.

• Christopher M. Campbell, 28, of 206 Main St., Blossburg, faces a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, after Blossburg police were dispatched to the Acorn Market, 210 Main St., Blossburg, Sept. 30, for a report of someone snoring in the restroom. Police said Campbell was found lying on the floor and had in his possession a used syringe in a cigarette box. He was issued a summons to appear at a Dec. 28 preliminary hearing.
