Both the southbound and northbound lanes of Route 220 in Woodward Township were closed for about an hour late Tuesday night after two cars collided in front of the Harvest Moon Bowling Lanes, according to state police. A man driving a Kia Rio slammed into the back of a Toyota in the northbound lanes about 11 p.m., police said. The impact pushed the Toyota across the median and both southbound lanes. The woman driving the car suffered serious injuries and was flown by helicopter to Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. The helicopter landed in the bowling lanes parking lot. The identities of the drivers were not expected to be released until next week, a patrol supervisor said Wednesday night. In another incident, Kayla Seitzer, 18, injured Monday night when she crashed her SUV into a tree near her home on McKee Road in Lycoming Township, remained in the pediatric intensive care unit at Geisinger.
