22 people sentenced in Lycoming County court

Twenty-two individuals recently were sentenced at the Lycoming County Courthouse, according to court documents.

Two were sentenced to state prison. They are:

• Wesley D. Lebarron, 22, 313 Grove St., Avis, seven to 24 months with credit for time served for resisting arrest.

• Ronnie Lester, 51, Philadelphia, 18 to 60 months and $1,283 in restitution for receiving stolen property.

Eight were sentenced to county prison. They are:

• Amelio Peluso III, 48, Russells Point, Ohio, 72 hours to six months, 75 hours of community service and $1,500 in fines for DUI.

• Matthew K. Dennison, 27, 713 W. Third St., Apt. 5, six to 12 months, 36 months probation, 50 hours of community service and $1 in fines for criminal trespass.

• Adam Doebler, 28, 942 Freedom Road, three to 12 months with credit for time served and 50 hours of community service for possession of a controlled substance.

• Jeffrey L. Hunter, 52, 627 1/2 Park Ave., 10 to 24 months less than one day, 50 hours of community service and $290 in restitution for simple assault and harassment.

• Nathan D. Gillman, 33, Scranton, three to six months with credit for time served, 50 hours of community service and $1,000 in fines for DUI.

• Raymond W. Franklin, 66, Mt. Carmel, 14 days to six months, 50 hours of community service and $500 in fines for DUI.

• Paul G. Stryker, 30, Liberty, 72 hours to six months, 50 hours of community service and $1,000 in fines for DUI.

• Andrew A. Stahley, state prison, three to 12 months for possession of a controlled substance.

Four were sentenced to intermediate punishment. They are:

• Jeffrey R. Weaver, 39, 672 W. Third St., Lock Haven, 24 months, 100 hours of community service and $200 in fines for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under suspension.

• Brandon P. Fisher, 36, 442 McElhattan Drive, Lot 869, McElhattan, 60 months, 12 months probation and 50 hours of community service for theft by deception, receiving stolen property and bad checks.

• Edward S. Freeburger, 53, 290 Edgewood Ave., DuBoistown, 60 months, 50 hours of community service and $1,500 in fines for DUI.

• John D. Hall, 39, 364 Lincoln Ave., 60 months, 50 hours of community service and $1,500 in fines for DUI.

Eight were sentenced to probation. They are:

• Daryl R. Brown, 21, 757 W. Third St., Apt. 1, 12 months and 50 hours of community service for possession of marijuana.

• Jacob W. Spencer, 22, 1108 W. Fourth St., Apt. 3, six months, 50 hours of community service and $300 in fines for DUI.

• Anthony K. Shields, 26, 510 S. Market St., South Williamsport, six months and 35 hours of community service for disorderly conduct.

• David C. Rute, 32, 38 Spottswood Drive, Milton, 12 months and 50 hours of community service for possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Chelsey L. Smith, 30, 1207 Hill Top Road, 36 months and 50 hours of community service for theft by deception.

• Charles C. Wingert, 25, State College, 12 months for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Brian O Kruse, 35, 1236 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore, 24 months and 50 hours of community service and $250 in restitution for receiving stolen property.

• Donald S. Cosgrove, 22, 165 Coal Run Road, Coal Township, 48 months, 50 hours of community service and $624 in restitution for retail theft.
