Authorities have captured Anthony M. Wolf, 24, who cut off his electronic monitoring bracelet at the intersection of Sixth and Memorial avenues in the city at about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Chief Detective William Weber, of the Lycoming County District Attorney’s Office, said Wolf was found lying along the roadway in the 20 block of Steam Valley Road in Cogan House Township at about 9:05 p.m.

Wolf, who has a history of substance abuse, was taken into custody by sheriff deputies and adult probation officers and immediately committed to the Lycoming County Prison, Weber said.

Wolf, of 11012 Route 14 in Ralston, was serving a county prison sentence of 6 to 23 months for burglary and theft-related charges.
