Police called to city shooting 2nd night in a row

For the second night in a row, city police were called to investigate a report of shots fired; this time at Catherine and Sheridan streets about 6 p.m. Wednesday.

No one was injured and no arrest has been made. Police officers could be seen collecting ballistic evidence, but they declined to provide any information.

A motorcycle was towed from the scene and taken to the department’s impound lot.

On Tuesday, two gunman reportedly exchanged gunfire in the 700 block of West Fourth Street about 12:30 a.m. Bullets struck a couple of parked cars, police confirmed. No one was injured.
