28 sentenced in county court

Twenty-eight individuals recently were sentenced at the Lycoming County Courthouse, according to court documents.

One was sentenced to state prison. She is:

• Nicki L. Powell, 36, county prison, 30 to 120 months in state prison with credit for time served for DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under suspension.

Fourteen were sentenced to county prison. They are:

• Karlyanna A. Janusz, 21, Auburn, New York, five to six days, 50 hours of community service and $300 in fines for DUI.

• Steven W. Shoemaker Jr., 42, 810 Route 405, Hughesville, 30 days to 24 months less than one day with credit for time served and 50 hours of community service for endangering the welfare of a child.

• Devon M. Carson, 24, 5957 Lycoming Creek Road, Cogan Station, 15 days to six months, 50 hours of community service and $300 in fines for DUI.

• Virginia V. Watson, 52, 637 Fourth Ave., four to 23 months with credit for time served, 50 hours of community service and $17.70 in restitution for retail theft.

• Mark D. Neidig, 36, 115 Washington Blvd, three days, six months of probation, 50 hours of community service and $300 in fines for DUI and public drunkenness.

• Marsha A. Hugo, 42, no address listed, five days to six months, six months probation, 50 hours of community service and $300 in fines for DUI and disorderly conduct.

• Mark A. Edwards, 27, 710 Railroad St., Jersey Shore, 72 hours to six months, 50 hours of community service and $1,000 in fines for DUI.

• Amanda N. Outman, 27, Ulysses, 72 days to 12 months with credit for time served, 12 months probation and 50 hours of community service for possession of a controlled substance and tampering with evidence.

• Cara L. Frankevich, 33, 34 Carone Drive, Cogan Station, 72 hours, six months probation and 50 hours of community service for DUI and disorderly conduct.

• Jordan E. Conner, 33, 4277 Route 287, Jersey Shore, 30 days to six months with credit for time served, 10 days of intermediate punishment and 75 hours of community service for DUI.

• Ronald E. Ulmer Jr., 51, 902 Poplar St. Apt. B, 85 days to six months with credit for time served and 50 hours of community service for DUI.

• Daniel C. Miller, 23, Earlysville, Virginia, five days to six months, 50 hours of community service for DUI.

• Maris R. Shaffer, 32, 1618 High St., 30 days, 24 months probation, 25 hours of community service and $500 in fines for unlawful use of a motor vehicle and driving under suspension.

• Nicole S. Wagoner, 46, 5957 Lycoming Creek Road, Lot 4A, Cogan Station, 72 hours to six months and $1,200 in fines for DUI and driving under suspension.

Five were sentenced to intermediate punishment. They are:

• Leah M. Smith, 21, Pottsgrove, six months with 60 days on electronic monitoring, 50 hours of community service and $1,500 in fines for DUI.

• Thomas A. Barnfield, 51, 3630 Pine St., Cogan Station, 24 months and 50 hours of community service for DUI.

• Jason W. Shifflet, 35, 2421 Pleasant Valley Road, Cogan Station, 60 months, 24 months probation for fleeing and eluding, DUI, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Damian G. Thompson, 40, Liberty, 60 months and 15 hours of community service for DUI.

• Douglas A. Riccardo, 45, 49 Truman St., Trout Run, six months, six months probation and 50 hours of community service for DUI and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Eight were sentenced to probation. They are:

• Douglas C. Harding, 27, 1535 W. Fourth St., six months and 40 hours of community service for simple assault.

• Zachariah David Rogers, 22, 670 Sixth Ave., 12 months, 35 hours of community service and $300 in fines for possession of drug paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana.

• Morganni D. Telfer, 29, 2407 Prospect Lane, 72 months and 50 hours of community service for possession of a controlled substance and 50 hours of activity.

• Blaine S. Stiger, 41, 518 S. Washington St., Muncy, six months, 25 hours of community service and $200 in fines for false reports and accident involving damage.

• Michael Anthony Modicowitz, 36, Rehrersburg, 18 months and 50 hours of community service for retail theft.

• Brianna M. McCloskey, 23, 123 Prospect Ave. P.O. Box 232 Avis, 36 months and 50 hours of community service for corruption of minors.

• Eric A. Brown-Thedford, 33, 651 Fifth Ave., six months and 25 hours of community service for terroristic threats.

• Gene Berger Jr., 26, 1510 Memorial Ave., six months, 50 hours of community service and $300 in fines for DUI.
