2nd suspect in robbery arrested

JERSEY SHORE — A second person has been arrested and jailed in connection with a man being robbed of his cellphone at gunpoint, according to the Tiadaghton Valley Regional police.

Robert Cummings, 38, of 478 State St., Antes Fort, has been charged with robbery, simple assault, theft and receiving stolen property for allegedly holding up Danny Hamilton inside Sarah Allison’s home at 400 S. Broad St. about 12:20 a.m. on Dec. 20, police said.

After Cummings pulled out a gun, he and Allison removed items from Hamilton’s pockets, police said.

Allison, 25, has already been arrested and jailed in lieu of $150,000 bail. She had accused Hamilton of taking her pills, but he denied taking them, police said.

Following his recent arraignment before District Judge Jerry C. Lepley, Cummings also was committed to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $150,000 bail.
