Woman arrested on drug charges

A city woman faces drug-related charges after city police said they found multiple types of pain-relieving pills only obtained by prescription in her bedroom.

Amy E. Morgret, 34, of 1418 W. Fourth St. faces six counts each of possession with intent to deliver and possession and one count for use of drug paraphernalia, according to an affidavit by Patrolman Joshua Bell.

The drugs were allegedly discovered during a search of the house on Oct. 27, 2017, and she was picked up recently and arraigned before District Judge Christian D. Frey.

She was placed in county jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.
