Local crash victims identified

State police released the identities of the two men who were injured in the two-vehicle crash that occurred on Interstate 180 West, one mile west of the Lycoming Mall, about 4:30 p.m. Saturday.

Police said a pickup truck driven by Dustin Wells, 34, of Morehead, Kentucky, slammed into the back of a pickup driven by Larry O’Connor, 70, of Kings Park, New York. O’Connor was parked along the north berm and was pushed 100 feet by the impact. Both men were treated at the UPMC Susquehanna Williamsport Regional Medical Center.

State police also released the identities of three people who were injured in the two-vehicle crash at Route 14 and Liberty Street in Trout Run about 4:45 p.m. on June 4.

Cars driven Adam S. Carter, 27, of Chicago, and Shannon Haight 35, of Trout Run, collided, police said.

Carter and a passenger, Drew Carter, 22, of Roberts, Illinois, were treated at the hospital for moderate injuries while Haight declined treatment for minor injuries.

In a third accident, Devon Kling, 24, of Trout Run, suffered minor injuries when his motorcycle upset on Rose Valley Road in Gamble Township about 8:10 p.m June 5, police said.
