Police responded to the scene of a collision at the 200 block of Route 14 in Trout Run on Monday. The driver of the Kia sedan, above, turned left onto the street and failed to see an oncoming Nissan Xterra that struck the back end of the Kia, according to state Trooper Nathan Birth. The Kia then spun clockwise and came to rest facing the direction from which it came. The Kia’s occupants were kept in the car until they could be treated by an ambulance but did not appear to have major injuries, Birth said.
