Montoursville police drop charges against 2

Montoursville police have dropped charges of terroristic threats, criminal mischief and harassment against Cody R. Knorr, 19, of 755 Broad St., Montoursville, according to court records.

Knorr waived his preliminary hearing this week on the remaining disorderly conduct charge that stems from a disturbance in which he allegedly threatened to kill neighbor Kurt Klepper with a knife outside Klepper’s home on July 11, police said. He is free on bail.

Concerning another case, this one before District Judge Jerry C. Lepley in Jersey Shore, Donna Jean Boore, 37, of 144 Fredna Ave., Montgomery, pled guilty to a summary disorderly conduct charge after Tiadaghton Valley Regional police agreed to withdraw a misdemeanor charge of false reports to law enforcement.

Boore was alleged to have filed a false robbery report in the 200 block of North Broad Street on April 17. She made arrangements to pay $410 in fines and court costs as ordered by Lepley.
