4 people charged in Lycoming County

Four people have been charged with various criminal offenses, according to court records. Those charged and the police departments involved were:

• Terrie Fiest, 55, a resident of the Candlewood Suits and Inn, 1836 E. Third St.; state police; simple assault and harassment for allegedly assaulting his daughter Emily Fravel in their unit at the inn on Tuesday night; Fiest struck the daughter in the face and head while holding her on the ground; jailed in lieu of $7,500 bail.

• Casey Albright, 24, of 1012 Baldwin St.; Old Lycoming Township police; felony forgery, theft and receiving stolen property for allegedly stealing a check from Jude Richardson’s home at 511 Route 973 East, Cogan Station, on Aug. 11 and cashing it for $900; at the time of the theft she was visiting Richardson, where she used to work as a home health aide; she also allegedly stole $100 from the purse of the current home health aide, Judieth Bergenstock, while at the house; released on $15,000 bail.

• Lycoming County Prison inmate Troy Berry Jr., 8 Catherine Drive; city police; possession with intent to deliver five bags of marijuana in the 800 block of Memorial Avenue on July 13; recommitted in lieu of $35,000 bail; he is already jailed on other drug charges.

• Lycoming County Prison inmate Renata McKee, 38, of Williamsport; Lycoming County detectives; contraband and possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance when she allegedly smuggled suboxone into the prison at 277 W. Third St., on May 10; she has been incarcerated on other drug charges since April 1; but on May 8, she was moved to the Clinton County Prison due to overcrowding, returning to Lycoming County Prison two days later; on that day she underwent urinalysist test that revealed she had ingested suboxone; investigators learned she shared half a suboxone tablet with her cellmate; recommitted in lieu of an additionsl $15,000 bail.
