Man accused of killing wife brought back to county
Accused killer Edward Heck was brought back here Thursday night from Lebanon, Indiana, to face homicide and related charges in the death of his 49-year-old wife, Sonja Heck, in the couple’s Newberry home on Aug. 16, according to city police
The husband was taken into custody at a motel in Lebanon on Aug. 17, just hours after Sonya Heck’s daughter, Emily Rowe, discovered her mother’s body in the couple’s home at 2501 Linn St.
He was committed to the Lycoming County Prison without bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 11.
