Drugs allegedly found at Williamsport residence
City police made an arrest of a man on alleged drug-related charges at 702 Penn St., police said.
Upon arrival at the residents, police said they observed a large amount of cocaine in plain view and the odor of marijuana burning.
During the course of the investigation Jumichael Drummond, 28, was taken into custody, police said.
Officers conducted a search of the residence and found more than 20 grams of cocaine, 2 oz of heroin, more than $2,000 along with narcotics packaging and distribution items and a semi-automatic gun with ammunition.
Drummond was detained and incarcerated in Lycoming County Prison by the state police parole officers.
Drummond is accused of alleged possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, person not to possess a firearm and other related offenses, police said.
