1 passenger in critical condition
Brad Heffner, 31, of 401 Princeton Ave. Extension, was treated at UPMC Susquehanna Williamsport Regional Medical Center for injuries he suffered when his Kia Forte overturned and crashed into a tree at Fox Hollow Road and Gordy Lane in Old Lycoming Township about 1:20 a.m. Saturday, according to township police.
Concerning last week’s violent two-vehicle head-on collision in the 200 block of Montgomery Street near the Montgomery-Clinton Township line, the condition of Kerry Bauer, 20, of Williamsport, has been upgraded from critical to fair, a nursing supervisor at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, said Tuesday night.
Bauer was passenger in Chevrolet Malibu when it and a garbage truck collided about 4 p.m. on May 23, state police said.
The driver of the car, Alyssa Holmes, 29, of Watsontown, remained in critical condition, the Geisinger supervisor said.
Police said the garbage truck, driven by Tyler Comstock, 33, of Watsontown, crossed the center line and plowed first into the car and then into a utility pole. Comstock escaped injury, police said.
