Man suffers minor injury after crashing into tree

MALLORIE McILWAIN/Sun-Gazette The driver of a silver Chevrolet Astro saw his attached trailer swaying back and forth while traveling north on Egli Hill Road east of Clarkstown Sunday and took his eyes off the road to observe the trailer. The driver then hit a tree head on, hitting his mouth against the steering wheel causing a minor injury and bleeding from mouth. He was checked out by the ambulance crew, but refused treatment, according to Brad Nichols, fire chief for Muncy Volunteer Fire Co. The tree that was hit fell down on and into the vehicle.
