Airman graduates

Air Force Airman Justin W. Knee graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas, on March 21.

He completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Knee was awarded the Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon. He also received awards as Top PT Airman and Outstanding Airman for 323TRS/FLT 203.

The airman recently completed a tactical air control party preparatory course and is stationed at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas, where he will continue his training as a special operations tactical air control party specialist.

He is the son of Gerald and Brenda Knee, of South Williamsport, and graduated in 2013 from South Williamsport Area High School.
