15th annual Athens ArtsFest ends today

ATHENS – The 15th annual Athens ArtsFest continues from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today on the grounds of Harlan Rowe Middle School, just off Route 220.

Attendees will find entertainment, games, food and a lineup of more than 175 fine arts and crafts artisans, plus a car show.

Children have their own “Kids Corner” where they can work on arts and crafts projects.

A petting zoo is sponsored by the Athens Area School District’s agriculture science program.

At the clay tent, visitors can learn to “throw” on a potter’s wheel and create a unique clay sculpture.

Horse and buggy and pony rides will be offered for adults and children.
