Vietnam War era subject of Living History event
BOALSBURG – The Pennsylvania Military Museum’s annual Vietnam War-era Living History Weekend ends today.
Living historians bivouac (camp out) on the grounds, demonstrating 1968-71 field life in Southeast Asia.
The camp opens to the public at 10 a.m., with a tactical ambush demonstration at 1:45 p.m.
Patrol recon missions along the adjacent Spring Creek go on throughout the day. Interested participants for patrol demos are encouraged to wear long trousers and good shoes.
The museum is at 51 Boal Ave., 3 miles east of State College.
